What can I say about this movie? Hmmm. awesome! It was the first movie that I ever fell in love with. Well, it was the first actor that I have ever fallen in love with - at the time. Sean Astin and all the others made the movie a wonderful treat to watch. I got my best friend into it. We both loved it so much that we began to write a sequel to it and almost (but not quite) succeeded. We'd still love to see a sequel made, but it looks doubtful since talk of one years before this died out almost immediately due to lack of interest from many cast members. It still is a classic kid's comedy. I've got the whole thing practically memorized too, Ash! Think they should have a 15-year anniversary re-release. There is only one thing that could make this movie better and that is if it was uncut and on DVD. If you want to relive your memories when you were a child, I suggest watching this one and Stand By Me.

This movie is the epitome of childhood adventure. I don't know anyone who dislikes this film. I babysat for some little kids last summer and showed them this movie and they loved it too. This movie is for every generation. In fact, my dad still does the truffle shuffle.
